America is a blessed island of freedom, based upon limited government with all sovereignty held by the people. Just spin the world globe and see for yourself. However, The United Nations aspires to draw ALL global power to itself -- executive, legislative, and judicial, and is on the verge of succeeding. The U.N. has always beguiled us into thinking it to be what it assuredly is not. The disparity between the dream of nations united and the reality of the United Nations is immense and unbridgeable. The UN began as the center of communist espionage in America -- thanks to an absurd grant of diplomatic immunity for its entire staff (with no way for law enforcement to even ask questions of those who committed murder or other serious crimes). The U.N.'s minions (Alger Hiss, successive US Administrations, fellow travelers, idealistic students, subversives, and dupes) would obligate the United States -- through NATO and other entities -- to engage in endless wars, which subvert our Constitution, have nothing to do with our security; and inevitably sap our substance and integrity. This would reduce America to just another vassal state. The majority of U.N. nation states are run as personal fiefdoms by despots, thugs, and tribal patriarchs. No wonder the U.N. has never performed a real anti-communist act or contributed to world peace. How could it? Its glibly written charter and Declaration of Human Rights are a sham. It is the world's number #1 peace breaker, totally unfit to be its #1 peace-maker -- Nobel Prize notwithstanding. Its Charter is deliberately so vague and broad to permit the U.N. to do anything. No restraints, or checks or balances. That's a surefire prescription for absolute global tyrrany!

In raised lettering on the back of my UN Medal it states: “For Service in Defence of the Principles of the Charter of the United Nations.” In 1949 when I enlisted in the USMC I took the standard military oath to defend and protect the US Constitution. Having never taken an oath/affirmation to defend the “Principles of the Charter of the United Nations,” I believe that my country, without my consent, pressed me into the service of a foreign sovereign.
