| Comments: Three and one-half years ago when my son turned eighteen he received a letter from Selective Service to register with them. I interviened and over the next few months of correspondence with not only the Selective Service but the Department of Justice we came to an aggreement. This agreement was that he did not have to register with Selective Service and he would therefore not be eligible for any government benefits or programs.
Shortly thereafter the TV ads were changed from It's the law to If you do not register you will not be eligible for governmental programs and benefits. I have since learned that many had responded to It's the law in the same way that I had and the government was forced to change its tune.
Unresolved is the issue that I brought in my letters and that was in reference to the Constitution of the United States at Article 1, Section 8, Clause 12 To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriations of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;. Where is that Appropriation located in the House and Senate Journals? Is it renewed every two years? Whose Army is it anyway? The Army of the United States under the Constitution or the Army of a foreign corporation known as the UNITED STATES or the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?
I fear that the latter may be the case. Any additional information that will shed light upon the present situation will be appreaciated. We can dismantle the present legislative democracy and return to the Republic and one Nation under God, one brick at a time.

| Comments: I've read this case over quite a bit since stumbling onto it. Really folks, grow up. I was in the Canadian Army for 25 years and served with the UN and the US Army in Germany. The simple soldier's view on constitutionality and other arguable concepts mean very little in theater. Discipline on the other hand saves lives. Spc New allowed his personal views to cloud his duty as a soldier and disobeyed a lawful command. Fortunately, the only casualty was him. I'm sorry, I commend him for the intestinal fortitude, but if ya want to give a speach about the Constitution, run for office. If you want to be a soldier, get on with the mission. To do otherwise, for whatever the reason (within reason) only lets your buddies down. To assume that a foreigner would somehow order an American to do something illegal or immoral under the auspices of the UN in view of US eyes is somewhat rediculous, or maybe I should've assumed the same when I was under US command? In short, maybe the citizen militia's may admire you, but thankfully the US Army has better sense.

Now we the people must be willing to stand beside Michael New and defend the sovernity of the United States agains the attacks of the european union and the UN that are determined to bring about a one world government and a one world court.
We must never, never, never surrender! We owe it to our children, and to each one of the soldiers who paid the ultimate cost for our freedom. They paid with their lives and their blood, so we can voice our oppositon to this infringment on American freedom and sovernity.

It is so sad though, watching this great nation fall so far so quickly. And what is so frustrating is that hardly anyone knows this and even less will listen!

| Comments: As a former member of the military I am deeply troubled in the fact that Spec. New took an oath and in my view fulfilled that oath to the letter. He, by speaking out and drawing attention to what he percieved as an illegal act by an immoral Commander In Chief, has taken a step in defendind the constitution against one more domestic enemy. The troubling part is that he was a Specialsit in the Army. Why was he deserted by so many of his superiors? You could never get his commander to wear a U.S. Navy uniform but seems ready and willing to serve a foreign command that obviously has a different political agenda than that of the United States. I honestly believe that when a young man at the bottom of the military food chain is the only one doing the right thing and has the courage to stand up for his beliefs THAT young man is more of a patriot than a decorated general that follows the orders of an idiot. No person should be forced to pledge allegiance against thier will. The United States should never give control of thier most powerful weapon, an American servicemember, to any foreign power. My question to the Unites States Congress is.... When the U.N. brings military action against the United States what will be the uniform of the day? Or do we give up that decision as well? I thank Spec New for having the courage to do whats right and stand by his promise to defend the constitution.

I did not know that there is still hope for him to exonerate himself. I would like to see his case go before the supreme court because the higher military ranks are too politicized for any type of impartiallity and this case is of national importance for its impact on foreign policy.

| Comments: No joke, I always saw something wrong with the United Nations but could never give a true reason or proof as to what it was. I guess you can say that we are the closest thing to a God-fearing nation in the world. So it's scary to think of a world controlled by the United Nations. I don't know much about politics but I do know that we have done good in the past by depending on the Lord for our prosperity. I have no problem believing that the ultimate goal of UN is to bring down the United States. Even if it isn't the plan today, I'm sure it will be soon. Millions of people from those countries flee to the United States for a good reason. We have the best government. So why surrender all that our forefathers bleed and died for to a bunch of communist, third-world countries? Either way, my family and I our safe in the Lord's hands. But it still hurts to be a patriot and see our country do such a thing. Thanks for the hard work you guys are doing in informing the public on this matter. I didn't have a problem with it at the time because we had an American chain of command and didn't have to wear anything special. With that said, keep up the fight! You are absolutely right as I see it. I'd be damned if I'd let my kids fight for another country or organization.

Here in Canada, the province of Alberta is still holding out against the diabolical UN 'Rights of the Child' resolution, even though former Prime Minister Mulroney signed it on behalf of 'the people' of Canada, BEFORE bringing it to the attention of 'the people'. Of course, 'the people' have NEVER had a chance to vote on this issue, nor many other statutes imposed upon us, like Income Tax, and various other taxes like the GST and the gasoline taxes. A few years ago, when 'the people' did have a chance to vote on a referendum issue, 'the people' prevailed against an onslaught of propaganda from the governing bureaucracy, big business, and the unions. Only one political party, the Reform Party, opposed the issue I call the 'Charlatan Accord'. After 'the people' defeated that issue, Prime Minister Mulroney said 'Never Again!' will 'the people' get a chance to vote in a binding referendum! But in the next election, 'the people' reduced his party to only 2 seats! (But that party did achieve 'gender parity', as one male and one female were elected!)
Sometimes it takes only one person to stand up against an oppressor and then others will follow. My prayers are with Michael New, that many will stand with him and support him in this cause of freedom!

I thought we had a National Guard to protect us here at home. What does the money that the U.S. contributes to the U.N. go for besides those Government sponsored abortions we've read about? Who really runs that show which apparently is running the American show, and if that is so, then what has America really become? Are we a Sovereign Nation? Or to really confuse matters: what does that make of the other sovereign nation within this nation? You know, the American Indian Nation!
