What so heartened me when I first heard of SPC New's case a decade ago is that there CAN be wonderful exceptions to the general and lamentable trend of declining citizenship whether or not the general public is largely aware of the crisis that confronts it. There can, indeed, arise citizens in a late generation who are every bit the worthy citizens that were their forebears several generations before. This is great cause for hope.
